A morning paddle around the time of the summer solstice. Endless 24 hour light is a strange experience. On this particular mission @donalboyd and I started our day at 1am and eventually said goodnight just after lunch time. If you have supplies on hand the midnight sun really allows you to live by your senses sleep when your body is tired eat when your body is hungry you aren’t bound to any standard day-night time schedule. It’s a crazy contrast to the current darkness of winter but that’s why Iceland is damn exciting. Change is the only constant.
